Laser welded blades bond the diamond segments to the steel core with a laser weld rather than a silver braze, so the bond survives far more heat. That matters on hard mortar, reinforced concrete, and any job where a silver welded blade would start throwing segments. Shellpo offers two laser welded lines — Turbo and Silent Core — both built on a silent core with Ultra grade diamonds at 52% higher particle concentration than a normal segmented blade.

The turbo rim clears debris fast and runs cooler than a flat segmented rim, which keeps cut speed up on concrete, block, and asphalt. If you need the standard segmented rim on a silent core, or the 14" asphalt blade, those now live under Segmented.
